Designer

AppForms Designer is a core feature of the ClaySys AppForms platform, providing a visual, drag-and-drop interface for building dynamic forms and workflows.

The Forms UI can be designed in this section. Here controls can be drag and dropped from the toolbar at the left panel and its property can be set using property panel at the right. The form can be designed at the center portion. The designer window is shown in the image below.

There are other options available in this window as shown in the image below

New Form: New Form can be created by clicking this button.

Save Form: After creating the required form Click save Form button to save the form

CheckIn: After creating the required form click CheckIn Form. After CheckIn if any changes in form is made it will not be saved. This option will create a version of form in Database.

Check Out: After Check In, CheckOut option appears. Click CheckOut button to make any changes in Form.

Undo CheckOut: The changes made after CheckOut can be removed by Clicking Undo Check Out button.

Preview Form: Inorder to view the form UI, click Preview Form button.

Maximize button: Maximize button is used to maximize the window.

Close button: Close Button is used to close the form.

Download Form: Right Click the form and select download form to download the form.

Upload Form: Right Click in Form Explorer and Select Upload form to upload the form.

Grid:

The Center portion is the grid section where form UI is designed. The Grid Section is shown in the image below

In top left portion of the Grid, the path of form and Lock Column property is available. If Lock Column is enabled, the columns in the grid will be locked.

In top right portion of the Grid, there is an option to undo and redo the action done in the grid. There are icons to insert column to the left, right, top, bottom. There is a delete icon available to delete the selected control.

At the bottom, Hidden control option is there which consist of the list of hidden controls in the form. Create By displays the name of the user who created the form. Create Date displays the created date of the form. The arrow near the created date has two options. One is to Delete the form and other is Debug info.
